After such a slow summer it was nice spending time at the day job again---even though half of it was at night. I wasn't kidding when I said I had more landings in the Luscombe over the summer than I had in the MD-88! I thought I'd have at least one clunker landing over the four-day rotation, but as it turned out they were all fairly respectable. I'll take luck over skill any day. . .

Half Moon Over BWI
Greetings Brethren!

It wasn't completely smooth sailing though. Friday's DTW-BWI turnaround was completed without auto-throttles. Fortunately, I had plenty of manual throttle work over the summer in 43 Bravo. I guess sometimes you make your own luck!
