84 Charlie at the Bush-N-Vine

There were smoke signals on the southern horizon Wednesday evening.  Eddie Price, Chief Pilot at Pond Branch Airways, was searching for a Thursday morning destination. . .  Since our schedule was free, I informed Brother Price that Jellystone Air Park would be Open for Business Thursday morning!  Then I asked Number One Son if he would like to ride down to the airport in the morning.  With a smile, Miles replied:  "Maybe we should bring smoothie money this time!"

84 Charlie arrived at Jellystone Air Park shortly after 9:00 AM.

Brother Price was dressed in the "official" PBA uniform.  What you can't see is how parched he was after the hour long flight up from Pond Branch Airfield!  He must have been reading Miles' mind, because in no time at all he was asking about the smoothie action at the Bush-N-Vine Produce Stand---just fifteen minutes northwest of Jellystone Air Park, in York, South Carolina.  We were airborne shortly thereafter.

Miles and I led the way in 43 Bravo.  Eddie followed in 84 Charlie.

We parked on the Northeast Ramp, across from the Bush-N-Vine.

I took a picture of Miles and Eddie standing at the entrance to smoothie heaven!  The flavor of the day was strawberry.

The girl in charge of the smoothie machine said it was almost time to start blending peach smoothies.  Like we need a reason to return to the Bush-N-Vine. . .
