Layover Antics

I sent a note to Brother Price:  "The MD-88 arrives in Columbia (South Carolina) Sunday evening at 9 pm.  It doesn't leave until 6 pm Monday!"  He replied:  "How about I pick you up for breakfast and then you help deliver 84 Charlie to Aiken?  It's annual inspection time.  I'll need a pick up from the shop---you can drive the Miata."

Breakfast at the downtown Columbia IHOP was most excellent.  Then it was off to visit Brother P's old school chum at the BankAir Hangar at the Columbia Airport.  After a nice visit, and a few "do you knows," we were off to Pond Branch Airfield.

Brother Price & 84 Charlie.

Aiken, South Carolina is just a short flight & drive down I-20 from Pond Branch Airfield---Exit 22 to Exit 44, turn left and follow the signs to Aiken International Airport.

Brother Price must have dilly-dallied because I was able to document 84 Charlie's arrival.

Hey buddy!  Can the support crew have a ride?

A most excellent view!

Captain Price had his game face on!

Eating and visiting and driving and flying will make a guy hungry!
